Honolulu geisha girls strike; high cost cause
Japanese geisha girls of honolulu have won a short-lived for an increase in pay, and hereafter will receive $1´50 an hour, an increase of 50 cents over the former rate.
Tea garden propietors will pass the entertainment cost on to their patrons. The geisha girls demanded the increase because of the high cost of living. Rice has gone up several dollars a sack.
